Every year, the Palmer Ridge community comes together to fundraise for “The Harvest of Love.” Donations are accepted in the form of canned foods or money, and given to the Tri-lakes Cares. The community benefits directly from these donations. This fundraiser is marked by a spirit week- a week of themed dress up days. Students that participate are encouraged to donate.
- Monday: Adam Sandler day. Dress in the style of this celebrity, characterized by baggy, comfy clothes and activewear.
- Tuesday: Halloween. Wear your Halloween costume.
- Wednesday: 2000’s Day. This era of fashion was bold, bright, and comfy. Accessories, layered shirts, and vests were in!
- Thursday: Duo day. Match with a friend as an inseparable pair such as salt and pepper, or be a trio with DNA outfits like the science teachers did!
- Friday: Lumberjack Day. Draw inspiration from lumberjacks by wearing warm, often furry hats and flannel. Not pictured due to photographer’s absence that day.
