As we welcome in the freshman class this school year, the seniors are already celebrating their soon approaching departure with an “early” celebration. The tradition is still holding strong for our graduating class to come together and watch the sunrise, signifying the start of their senior year. Parent volunteers shined through this event by providing delicious treats/breakfast and providing a photographer to document the whole experience. Jayna Patrick appreciates the provided breakfast as “It is way to early to eat beforehand, so I’m glad people had that option to eat before school.” Students took silly pictures, talked to great friends, and danced to the music playing in the early morning. Anson Bickerstaff interacts with new people as “It was fun to just hang out and chat with friends I sometimes don’t see as much.” The good vibes from sitting on picnic blankets in PJ’s with company really set the tone for the year to come for the class of 2024.
