On Wednesday, November 15 2023, DECA had a competition held at the Doubletree world arena. Students spent months preparing in class and taking their own time to prepare for this event. 33 students received #decaglass and qualified for State Competition being held at the Broadmoor Hotel this coming February.

Kiya Burk, one of the State Qualifiers, states that “Some of the categories are more competitive than others and that you really have to work hard for your spot.” Mr. Hanson, the DECA advisor, said that “this year’s district did very well and has the highest world play scores and test scores for the district.” Good Job DECA!
