Synopsis: American automotive designer Carroll Shelby and the fearless British race car driver Ken Miles are faced with obstacles when they join Ford in the race against Ferrari. Ford’s goal is to beat Enzo Ferrari in the 24 hours of Le Mans in France, 1966. In order to do so, the duo battles not only corporate injustice but also the laws of physics as they work to design and race the perfect car.

In the movie “Ford vs. Ferrari”, we see Ken Miles and Carroll Shelby’s (Christian Bale and Matt Damon respectively) journey, as the two friends undergo what could be labeled as the most monumental moment in car industry history. Ken Miles is a British race car driver, tasked with testing the cars that Carroll Shelby creates for Ford in their race to beat Ferrari at their own game. The showdown will happen at the infamous 24 hours of Le Mans in France.

While this movie sure isn’t action-packed, it still has the capability to hold the audience’s attention right until the credits roll. It was obvious that there was a lot of attention put into the casting as it felt natural to watch these actors play their respective parts.

While I personally enjoyed this movie, I can see it bringing up some controversy. The movie depicted Ken Miles having trouble with the higher-ups in the Ford company, especially with what happened during the last race. Because the movie appears to be biased towards Ken Miles, this could raise tensions among the car fans. Overall, the movie was well done and I would highly recommend it to anybody with a knack for racing.
